Hello! I also offer local cat sitting. I originally did this via a dedicated platform, but it was unfortunately sold to another company and “nothing is changing” quietly became “huge inconvenience and enshittification” plus extra charges for cat owners, so here we are.

I have been a cat lover as long as I can remember! As a kid I always tried to encourage the local cats to visit our house until I was finally allowed to adopt one of my own. I am currently cat mum to two gorgeous rescues who, although the same age, could not be more different from each other personality wise. Parents don’t have favourites of course 🙂 but I have definitely learned a lot with reassuring the shyer one, who will now come running up the garden to see me if I make kissy noises at the door, and likes to ‘help’ with hanging out the washing!

I have been cat sitting since 2021 and have looked after my own furry bundles of mischief since 2015. As such I am well versed in cat-based challenges like administering medicine and assessing their health. I have made friends with most of my regular furry clients. Of course there are exceptions to the rule (*cough-Bella-cough*), but I don’t have any issues caring for cats that hate me. 🙂

Service area

This is approximate – I don’t drive, but I do have a kick scooter to help me get about faster. I’m happy to be flexible depending on number of visits required and availability of public transport, though I may need to negotiate an extra fee for this.

Availability

Unavailable: 8-14 September 2026

Current bookings: 14-21 June 2026 (Dartford Heath area), 1-6 July 2026 (Crayford)

I don’t block out availability when I already have a booking, as I can often handle two or three at the same time, as long as they are not too far apart.

What will happen?

  • Initial meeting – for new clients, we will need to arrange an initial visit for orientation and meeting the cat(s). There is no charge for this.
  • Key handover – there is no charge for this either, and it’s useful if we can combine this with the initial meeting.
  • The visits – each visit will be at least 20 minutes long and generally closer to 30 minutes; however it will take as long as it takes to deal with food, water, litter trays, playtime/cuddles and any cat-related messes! I usually take a photo and send via Whatsapp with a short update. I generally leave this until I get home so I’m not using phone data. 🙂
  • Your return – usually I will keep hold of keys until you are back. We can’t have starving kitties if there is a delay! However, if you have any other key-holders (e.g. neighbours, friends or family), I will be happy to post your keys on my last visit and save myself another trip.
