I made a strange spinner for the curious board game. Here it is in motion:

I love the Japanese folklore concept that objects that have lasted 100 years are imbued with a soul and come alive. I have no idea if my sister-in-law’s grandmother’s sewing basket (which was given to me) is actually that old, but I though it was close enough to be plausible. 🙂

You may note similar scenery and toy soldiers to the catbus picture about a month previous. 🙂

My cats had stopped using this bed, so I decided to turn in into a monster. It was not entirely finished in time for the photo; it now has more hair and the tongue cushion is done properly. The cats remain uninterested, to no-one’s particular surprise.

The summer wildfires were still on my mind, so I decided to submit this photo I took, entitled “after the world was on fire”.

We got given buses again, seriously this time, along with a possible theme of lettuce, so here I present catbus with lettuce trees (and soldiers).

I wondered what primordial soup might look like. Probably less green food colouring and bicarb froth, but hey. 🙂

I decided to make a curious board game with no discernable rules. I filled in the spaces with stuff I did in other weeks. I have a vague plan at some point to come up with some nonsensical rules for it.

So I missed a few weeks due to being busy, and then the amount of stuff that needed uploading became overwhelming and I kept putting it off. 😦 As such there will be a bit of an art dump incoming, So without further ado:

A new era; not a very nice one.

This week also had a sort of joke theme of ‘buses’ so this is the bus to hell.

Here I present my ‘boots of protection’, doing double duty for both ‘shoes and boots’ and ‘moon’ themes.
